Explore the Bible by maps

The geographic information in the Bible is thousands of years old. A lot of things can change in that amount of time. Cities have been built and buried. And entire civilizations have collapsed.

That makes it difficult to follow along with parts of the Bible. It can be hard to get a sense of distance or location.

It adds Biblical geography to Google Maps. You browse by Bible book and chapter.

Markers are added for every geographic reference. Click on a marker for more information about the location. You can also click on links in the Bible text.

I'm going to send that to our pastor. He often gives locations where the stuff in the Bible was happening in his messages.

You go right ahead. I thought it was kinda neat to be able to see the places on a map.

He's been doing a series going through Acts. Of course a lot was about the early church and the travels of Paul as he visited them. So he put maps up to show us where he was talking about. He's got his doctorate in divinity so is pretty smart. But he doesn't act like it. I mean he's easy to understand and right down to earth.
