One of those beautiful miracles given us each day and which are mostly lost.

A brief moment that renews our spirit and gives joy to the heart.

Kinda 'makes your day doesn't it ?

This tiny deer was delivered by Cesarean section at a Wildlife hospital after a car killed his mother.

Little Rupert, who is so small he can fit in an adult's hand, was born after vets failed in their battle to save his mother.

At just 6" tall and weighing just over a pound, he is now in an incubator in the intensive care unit at Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in Buckinghamshire. He has only recently opened his eyes.

Les Stocker, founder of Tiggywinkles, said, "Rupert's mother had very severe injuries. We brought him out and got him breathing, and then he went into an incubator on oxygen. He is now being fed by a tube."

Rupert in an incubator.

Rupert pulls a striking pose for the camera.

Staff members are optimistic that Rupert, now 5 days old, will make a full recovery.
"Deer are very, very tricky, but this one has spirit. He's an extremely feisty,
Little guy and quite pushy," Mr. Stocker said.

Asleep: Rupert takes 40 winks.

Hey Preston I checked out the Roe deer on the net and you have to be right cuz that little tiny deer does not look like a normal size fawn.

Wikipedia: The Roe Deer is a relatively small deer, with a body length of 95–135 cm (3.12–4.43 ft), a shoulder height of 65–75 cm (2.13–2.46 ft), and a weight of 15–30 kg (33–66 lb).
The world famous deer Bambi (the eponymous character of the books Bambi, A Life in the Woods, and its sequel Bambi's Children, by Felix Salten) is originally a roe deer. It was only when the story was adapted into the animated feature film Bambi, by the Walt Disney Studios, was Bambi changed to a white-tailed deer. This change was made due to the white-tail being a more familiar species to the mainstream U.S. viewers.
Consequently, the setting was also changed to a North American wilderness.

Yes, I saw it and it's fine. The other way I would know would be to save the pictures and then put them there.
