Keep personal health data on your computer ex[medic]

Your health is a very personal topic. It can also be pretty complicated. But most people don't keep their health information organized. They leave that up to their doctors. But controlling that information can be very useful.

Personal health record services are popping up all over the Web. Google and Microsoft each offer an online solution. These are great services. But you're storing a lot of personal information online. Not everyone is comfortable with that.

If that sounds like you, HeyDoc! is the solution. It too lets you organize detailed data about your health. But all of it is stored on your computer. It remains under your control. You can use it however you'd like.

It stores contact information for all your doctors. You can build a detailed medical history. You can keep track of prescriptions, immunizations and appointments. There are charts for tracking blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose levels. All this data can be e-mailed to doctor with one button press.

I got through to it this morning but when I went back later on to download it I couldn't get through either. Maybe too many people are trying to get it. I'll try again another day and see what happens.

Now I'm busy trying to get all my old medical info put onto it..............what a job!

This is really pretty cool. I'm gonna try to get Hubby to use it also. I may even put in all my kids' info, then print it and give it to them to keep on hand. I did something similar when they were younger and were traveling without me. Boy Child only went to Florida, Girl Child went to Poland!

Yes I really like it and I too will try and get DH to do it too. He'll prolly just make me do it all for him and of course I will ex[happy] I like how you can set it to back everything up on exit and then there is a restore button in case you need to get it back. ex[thumbup]
