What is that smell?

As you know, my wife and I have separate bathrooms. Hers is mice and mine is a man's if you know what I mean. I have been fermenting corn with yeast in it for the full moon on the 19th. I plan on dropping a pig or two. Well, with the cold temperatures, the yeast wasn't wanting to grow very fast so I snuck it inside and put it in my bathroom.

It's moving along nicely now, the water is brown and noxious bubbles are beginning to rise to the surface, but not fast enough. So, I just chopped up and added two heads of lettuce which ferments very quickly. I fear I'll have to keep the vent fan running in there soon or resort to burning some scented candles lest she sniff it out. Cranberry Mandarin should do it.

You won't be able to hide that for long! You may be sharing a dog house with the dogs if you're not careful!

I meant cabbage, it ferments and stinks a lot worse than anything else. I fear that you are right Rosie, I think I can smell it from here. It must be like having a kid in the house living with my antics, poor girl.

I'll just blame it on the dog and say that she has gas and has been farting all day, has the house stunk up.

Brings back memories of good ol'dad brewing is own beer out in the garage during the summer months. I do recall my dad and uncle sitting around out in the back yard drinking beer out of brown champain size bottles, and they were really having a great time. Us kids had to go somewhere else and play. I thought it was fun watching them get silly. Aaahhh, such fond memories.

It's getting pretty ripe, even I don't like it now. But the hogs should love it. I guess I'll take my post hole diggers this morning and bury it about 2 feet deep. Hogs can't dig straight down, they will be rooting at this for a week or better once they find it. The full moon is the 19th. I have a new black powder rifle with a scope, the scope should gather enough light for me to lay one down.

I still can't find my camera though.
