I just found out that a truly great lady has passed away today. She was known as Texasbelle. Some of you on here know her. She passed away today in Arizona after a long hard battle with Cancer.

She had a quick wit and could sometimes have a sharp tongue but it was only applied when it was much needed. She was an animal lover like many of us. She will be missed by many.

May God be with her family at this time.

Texasbelle, take care of all the pets until We meet again.

Oh, my. When I saw the topic, I had hoped you were going to say that you had invited her here. I am greatly saddened to hear this.

Texasbelle was a great character--online, as well as in her life. I never had the blessing of meeting her, but I can say that about her character, as it always shone through in all of her posts.

Heaven has truly received another angel. At least I do feel better, knowing that she is there to love on all of our animals for us, until we can get there to do it ourselves.

I've been praying that she would pass quickly and easily as I heard she was doing very badly, not even able to speak. She was a great Lady and always fun to hear from.

This is such sad news. She was such a dear, special lady. She was a true friend to all animals. All her pets were rescues from the animal shelter. Yes, I'm certain she is looking after all our pets up there. Can't you just see her with her arms open wide to embrace them all! Such a lovely, dear woman! Heaven is surely rejoicing!

I'm so sorry to hear about Texasbelle, I didn't know her, only from her posts, but she seemed like a very nice lady and did love all animals. Thoughts and prayers to her family

I am unfamiliar with her. Must have been quite a person from what all of you are saying.

I'll miss you Belle. Even though I never met you, I feel like I knew you well. I loved your stories or growing up and your love for the beach. You are a great lady Belle, always speaking your mind, letting the rubber hit the road. I think we all learned many things from you. You are a true hero and I will always admire you.

I emailed Yorkie to ask about arrangements. The response:

Her brother is having her cremated and bringing her ashes down to be put in the vault with her mom at Forest Lawn sometime during the summer. I haven't heard yet if he is doing a service in Arizona.

If any of you hear anything different, please let me/us know.

Mikey: Yes, Texasbelle was indeed "quite a person". She knew alot ab out life, and how to live it. She did not sit and wait for death to come to her door. She made it look for her!!

Belle, you will be missed.
