Please pray for

Dave. He's a good man from another forum, 40 years old or so, lives near Detroit, is single, from Indonesia, but has lots of friends. He had heart surgery this morning to remove an aneurism and is doing as well as can be expected at this time.

As of this morning, he is doing as expected and they are removing the ventilator today. There is a lady who puts his progress on his Facebook page so we are able to keep up with it.

The news for Dave as of this morning is that he is up and eating a little. If he continues to progress with this speed, he'll be home in 5-6 days. His church friends had made a schedule so he is not alone. This will continue when he goes home and they will be cooking for him too.

That's just great news Esther! I hope he's home soon.

Hey how did you get your little signature on the bottom of your page to stick? I tried to save one and it just won't work...................I am by now means computer savvy as you are finding out............I lost half the smilies last night trying to add more............I did manage to get the worm and the snow guy to stay in their right spots but for the rest........it's back to the drawing board.

I'm not sure because the first time I finished, it didn't stick. So went back and pushed all the buttons there, one after the other. LOL

Dave has been home now for several days. He is doing well but isn't allowed to drive yet. He says he feels rather weak too but I suspect that is normal considering he had open heart surgery.
