Here is a coupon that Dawn made up for us to print out and use to honor Braeden and also spread the awareness of Pediatric cancer. I squeezed it down so I could get two copies on one page and printed it out on cardstock so it would hold up while being passed around from person to person, hopefully the whole month of May. I'm suggesting that each person put their name on the coupon and then send it back to the person who started it. Whether people really do it, I don't know. I think it sounds like fun.

SuperBub’s Gift
Braeden "Super Bub" was born May 16, 2005. Just one day
before his second birthday he was diagnosed with
Neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer. He bravely
fought the cancer for 23 months before being called home to
heaven on April 18, 2009. Though he endured much in his short
life, he faced each day with joy and a contagious enthusiasm
that touched so many.
May 16, 2010 would have been Braeden's 5th birthday.
The person who passed this coupon on to you did so to honor
the birthday of a little one who touched them in some way.
Please visit http://www.superbub.org/birthday.html and tell us the story
of what someone did for you when you received this coupon.
Now join the fun by passing it on by doing something kind for
someone else. Don’t forget to pass this coupon on to them, so
they can tell their story too!
Did you know:
~That in the US, cancer is the #1 disease killer of children?
~On the average, 12,500 children and adolescents in the U.S.
are diagnosed with cancer each year?
~That one in five children diagnosed with cancer in the US will
die?
~That every school day in the US 46 children are told they have
cancer?
~The National Cancer Institute’s federal budget is $4.6 billion.
Pediatric cancers receive less than 3% of it?
~That every DAY in the US alone, seven children are fighting
cancer who won't survive the day? For more information on
childhood cancer and the need for awareness, funding
and research, please visit www.GOLDTheNewPink.net.
Spread the word, for our kids, until the whole world hears...!
Don’t forget to visit http://www.superbub.org/birthday.html to tell
us your story!

Hoo boy. Maybe I did something wrong. That's odd. I typed it in and it went right to it. OK, I replaced both the addresses with this new one and then checked it. Should work now.

Did my first one this morning. There is a lady at church who lives down the hill from there in a adult care facility. She is a little "odd". I don't really think she is retarded, just different. She doesn't seem to know how to interact with people very well. Anyway, she has been coming to Bible study on Tuesday mornings and we noticed that the last few weeks she will interupt several times to ask what time it is. She said her watch disappeared. Last week she asked if anyone had an extra watch she could have. Well when my mom passed, she had 4 watches in her jewelery box. So I took two to Meijer and bought a battery and gave them to her this morning. You'd have thought I gave her gold ones.

The next one is to give a wheel barrow to one of our tenants. I figure that if we give him some more lawn care equipment, he'll keep trying to take care of it. He already bought a shovel and rake. He was asking about planting grass seed and how to tamp down where the ground mole made a mess.
