Final interview.

I was basically hired at Kaplan College, waiting to retire from Mobil. I did the interview as well as the audition, the woman was saving my paperwork until I retired. She is no longer there, so I had to redo the application as they couldn't find it. I am scheduled to begin work there September the 10th. That is, if they don't hold the old drug charges from 1973 against me. Looking forward to teaching again.

Congratulations, my friend! When you love what you do, it shows. Those students will learn so much!

A couple was just here and the lady made mention of a "plumbing guy". Her husband calmly corrected her with, "plumber". We all laughed because he was trying to be propper.
Shortly after that, he mentioned that our tree looked like it was dying. I told him I thought it was hollow and why. I mentioned that we had a "landscaper/tree guy" come over and look at it. Everybody immediately began laughing at what I called the tree doctor.
