Well you two can just have at it. It's only a matter of time as we grow that somebody in India or somewhere will spam the forum with porn sites or Viagara ads. They have bots just looking for a place to post this stuff. We are still small and flying under the radar for now but give it time and you will get to use the delete button.

Yes even I as a mod have been known to behave somewhat uncontrollable at times, which brings up a question..........what if 2 mods are acting up....do we just start dueling it up and the one who is fastest at the draw on the ban button wins

So what's a administrator? And what's a moderator? What's the difference. And if I am one of those, what am I supposed to do? How do I do it?

I trust that by now has clued you in in PM but if not, let me try to go with it.

The administrator (me) is the one who formed this forum. It gets complicated from here and I'm not real good with complicated so bear with me.

The Admin has the ultimate power of the forum, they get to choose what words or even subjects can be discussed. They also get to choose what user options regular members get to exercise in posting. I have the ultimate trust in all of our moderators so I will give you the Admin password if you need it for total control in case I die fighting a fire.

already has it, but as a moderator if you scroll to the very bottom of the homepage, where you first log on there is an "Administration panel" Click on that and again go to the bottom of the page. You will see a "Help" section with a search bar. You can ask any question such as "Members posts aren't showing,"

I am calling all moderators to help Cool Chulles to search and see why her posts are getting lost. Please help e with this as my time is limited and we do do not want to loose her out of frustration.

As a mod, you can move a post to the appropriate forum or topic, edit it or just delete it. If a moderator here see's fit to edit or delete a post, please send a PM to all other mods as well as the Admin to explain why you did this.

It gets complicated when you are trying to make a home for us all, a place to love, chat and share ideas. I am a dinosaur and I made this place with help. A "Category" is a group of "Forums", such as "General Chat" is a category in which a sub forum is "Government and Politics" or "The Dark Side" is a forum connected to the category "General Chat."

Clear as mud? I threw my hands up at first but stayed up all night for several nights separating the categories into sub forums and made this place all work. She also uploaded all of the cool smileys that we have here.

So....When we boil it all down and you ask what is the difference between an Administrator and a Moderator here, the answer is not much, just true friends trying to help each other make a good place to talk. I implicitly trust all of you and any of the moderators here have full powers to help us figure this all out.
