This recipe is for bread machines, and is great with any type of Italian food.
1 Cup warm water (70-80 degrees)
2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
3 cups bread flour
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1-2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. basil
1/8 tsp. marjoram
1/8 tsp. thyme
1/8 tsp. rubbed sage
1/8 tsp. dried rosemary, crushed
1 pkg (1/4 oz) or 2-1/4 tsp. yeast
In your bread machine, place all ingredients in the order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available. Bake according to bread machine directions. (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; this dough should appear dry. If it looks wet, add 1-2 Tbsp. of flour.) Makes 1 loaf 1-1/2 lb.
