Politicians are Whores

Senator Landrieu of Louisiana had consistently expressed concerns about the Senate's health care bill and clearly was inclined to vote against it.

Initially they tried to entice her vote by offering 100 million for her state. She, being a person of high principles, turned down the offer.

She voted YES on the Senate's health care bill yesterday after they included 300 million dollars for her state. No changes relating to her concerns were made to the bill....

A whore's gotta do what a whore's gotta do.....

I heard that on Fox, Mikey. This morning they showed a clip of Reid in a state of euphoria after the vote, hugging and kissing all the Dems that voted yes. They will do anything to get their way.

I wonder how many senators were paid off for their vote? And knowing Louisiana, I wonder how much of that money is going to be stuffed in politicians pockets?

Congress simply has way too many perks and until those perks are removed you will have politicians, Republicans & Democrats, selling their sole to get re-elected. They will promise you anything in order to get re-elected. So what if it bankrupts the country.....

Yes, they wrote a page and a half describing the special accommodations to be given to a state which has suffered a natural disaster within the time frame to include hurricane Katrina. Buying and selling votes should land them in jail.
