Fishlips, here is the macaroon recipe, they are moist and really yummy.

COCONUT MACAROONS
2 egg whites
1/8-tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 cups packed flaked coconut
Grease large cookie sheet well; dust with flour, shake off excess and set aside. In small bowl beat egg whites until foamy; add salt and beat until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar 1 Tbsp. At a time and beat until very stiff. Fold in extracts and coconut until well blended. Place rounded teaspoonfuls 1 inch apart on cookie sheet. Bake in 300 degree oven 20 minutes or until surface feels firm (inside should be slightly moist.) Cool on sheet then remove to rack to cool completely.

Sounds delicious, Wolfmom

I think you can delete the other post if you want because I don't think anyone has posted to it. In the lower right corner of the post you will see buttons "quote" "editor" and a "X". That X should delete the post. If you are not able to delete and want to get rid of the duplicate post, let me know. I might be able to do it and JW, I'm sure will be able to because she has administrative (super) powers.

I forgot to mention that this recipe sounds good because it has both vanilla and almond extract. I make a cookie that was my grandmother's recipe that uses both and it has such a nice flavor.
