For my b-day, I went to see my neurosurgeon. My last MRI checked out, and shows no need for surgery. That's the good news. The other news is: she doesn't know what is causing my pain, and has referred me to another neurosurgeon for a 2nd opinion.

Today will make 302 days I've been off work now. Until I can stand or sit for any length of time, I will not be returning to the workforce---income or no income. I just can't do it.

All in all, I had a pretty decent day spent with by best friend--my husband. Of course, he's been sick, so I had to make him see a doc as well. His is upper respiratory infection, so this too shall pass.

I have been blessed beyond measure this past year!! God has truly taken care of my family when we've needed it most. I've rekindled some old but precious friendships, thanks to Facebook. My own business is doing rather well, considering I am not out and about.

Yesiree, I have a wondeful life, rich with family and friends. What else can a gal ask for???

Happy Belated Birthday, Bartender. Sorry I didn't see this post earlier. I spend all day and evening yesterday in the kitchen baking Christmas cookies

Dayum... Rosie doesn't miss a beat, does she? I called your old place of work asking if you were back a while back. I do hope you find some relief from the pain before you do reach 100.

Thanks for callin, BF. I'm sure that chapped someone's hide!! There are those whom are glad I'm gone, and it just eats their lunch when someone calls looking for me. It was the same when I was on my 7 days off: a doc or social worker would call and ask for me, because they knew I'd take care of them. When they got a couple of other folks, they got nothing but problems!
