Some of you folks don't know the story of my grandson who passed away in April of Neuroblastoma Cancer. He was diagnosed at age 2 and died just 1 month short of his fourth birthday. Somewhere along the line, Braeden had been given a bone marrow transplant and had to be quarantined for 100 days, beginning with 31 days in the hospital. About 3 months later, we went up to his house to drop something off and mom and dad came out in the drive as we couldn't go in the house. Dawn had smiles all over her face and informed us she was pregnant. I asked my son how that had happened seeing Dawn had spent so much time at the hospital with Braeden. He laughed and said that as close as they could figure, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." Anyway, this is a picture of that "little accident" yesterday with Pete. He is a pretty easy baby fortunately because he was born 6 months before Braeden died and it was quite a scramble to keep everyone cared for. We stayed there for 6 weeks just before Braeden came home with Hospice.
