Dog Treat Recipes

Great idea. This way YOU control what goes into the treats. They aren't all fat!

I have been making dog treats for years. I will not feed my pets the commercial brands except those made by Wellness or Old Mother Hubbard because of the "garbage" they are made from. The same goes for most commercial foods. I also found freeze dried chicken treats called Pure Bites that are from the USA. I will not feed any meat source (chicken jerky treats) from China and I have yet to find a brand where the chicken isn't from China.

Those recipes sound great but I would probably avoid the ones that call for consumme or buillion cubes because of the salt and also those calling for garlic or yeast.
