I got out of the shower and it was cold so I put on long john bottoms, socks, a T shirt and a robe. My feet got cold so I put my shoes on. It finally stopped raining so I was going to check the mail. Trying not to piss off my anal retentive neighbor even more, I took off the robe and put on a jacket. Got almost to the door and looked down, no pants!

[IMG]http:///oo That's okay, Bullfrog. I've seen people wearing their pajamas in WalMart! Since when is it okay to do that? They even wear those big fuzzy house slippers!

Not to me, when it gets warm I'll wear my "Man of Steel" Superman underwear if they keep pissing me off. I really don't think you can get arrested for going out in underwear as you are covered. All the police can do is ask you to go inside. Maybe Mike will weigh in on this.

They are real prudes, the wife is a lawn nazi. When she moved in she was on the riding lawn mower three times a week, no kidding. She soon killed the grass because it didn't have time to recover, it started turning brown. At that time, we didn't have the back deck screened in and I liked to sit on the front porch in the evening, drink beer and watch the birds on the bird feeder. For some reason, this pissed her off to no end. She complained to my neighbor about it so I enjoyed it even more.

Our insurance adjusters were buried after hurricane Ike so I couldn't start ripping out sheetrock until they came, we missed the FEMA pickup. I called the city and explained, the City Manager said no problem, just pile it by the street and they would get it eventually, many people were in the same situation. This drove her berserk, she called at least three times complaining about the pile of debris.(I know the city secretary)

It has been cold and my house faces the west. Last week I was sitting on the porch enjoying the evening sun as she came out to get her mail. Her mailbox is on my side of the street, when she walked toward our house she saw me, I smiled and she snapped her head down and marched to her mailbox. The neighbor on the side of me came out to get her mail, I shout "Hello Margaret." she answered very friendly as the bitch across the street walked back home.

I feel sorry for her husband. He can't even get out of his truck after a days work without her finger pointing. He can't even change shoes before he is leaf blowing, cutting limbs while the kids sweep the porch and sidewalk. Heaven forbid there might be a leaf on the drive during autumn.

Good thing she doesn't live near me! She would have a heart attack! In the summer, Robert mows once a week and uses the weed eater once a month (maybe). His favorite thing is to spray herbicide along the fence instead of using the weed eater!

There have been a few times when I step out front and only after I am outside do I glance down to make certain I am properly attired. So far, so good.....

With respect to the legal issue. Every city/county/state will have their laws and within those jurisdictions the enforcement level of those laws may or may not exist.

In my 13 years where as a uniformed officer I responded to calls for service in a black & white I never received such a call. Someone standing out front in their bvds would not violate our laws since they are clothed. If it was a regular behavior and children were present and someone complained I likely would only let the person know that someone complained and request more clothing....

However, I will never forget the time we were dispatched to an apartment on a noise complaint. We were requested to see the complaining party. A request to see the complaining party of a noise complaint is unusual because they usually just want us to quiet down whoever is making the noise and the complaining party normally wishes to remain anonymous. So we do as directed and knock on the door of the complaining party. A female in her late 40s answers the door and invites us inside. She is wearing a black see-through negligee......and I do mean see-through..... [IMG]http:///oo I guess I was so distracted that today the only thing I remember about the call was what she was wearing....or should I say not wearing....
