Any amateur magicians out there? At first I thought the guy with the legs was bent over so his torso was hiding inside the table but how did the move top and bottom separately?

Another possible explanation is that the man who was cut in half has Sacral Agenesis and has no lower body. Everything from the waist down is prosthetics.
