First question

Where was my head when I thought I wanted a pond?

Sometimes it takes a while to cycle.

I have to admit that I was unprepared for how much work the pond was going to be. I don't think I ever thought it through. We just wanted a pond and so tada. They are much more work than I expected.
I have left most of the ponding chores to my husband who does a wonderful job. (and I'm not just saying that because he can read this) I guess I would rise to the task if I had to. I certainly do enjoy sitting and relaxing near it and I love my wet pets.

sometimes Freddie and I have a diffence of opinion as to what should be done concerning the pond but it keeps us taking. It's like arguing over how to raise the kids.
Since we don't have kids we have to argue over something LOL

Face it, you've alaways wanted a piece of nature like your pond.
